Independent software engineer · Arts & culture
I build software for arts and culture organizations.
I love the arts as much as I love technology. I build the tools that help cultural organizations do more of the work that matters.
I'm Josh TerAvest, an independent software engineer. For 17 years I've worked with theaters, operas, museums, and performing arts centers. And I've loved every minute.
I started at the box office. Since then I've run marketing campaigns, built and rebuilt websites, and spent seven years inside Tessitura, the CRM most of the industry runs on. I've seen a ton.
When I build for an arts organization, I already know your systems and how the work really happens. I'm taking on a small number of projects and fractional roles. If your team is fighting its software instead of doing the mission, let's talk.
